Ted Lind
Ted Lind is an artist and a past board member, current Programs Chair, of the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council (ARCAC).  He retired in 2013 after 40 years  working as an art educator and curator.  Most of his career was spent in art  museums and he has a special fondness for his time at the Philadelphia Museum  of Art, the Albany Institute of History & Art, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and the Newark Museum.  In 2010, he received the Museum Art Educator award from the National Art Education Association (US).  He majored in visual arts at Albion College (Michigan) and earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from the Rochester Institute of Technology.  He was also a Max Beckmann Fellow Advanced Painting Studies at the Brooklyn Museum Art School in New York. He  lives in Granville Ferry, NS
.

Julia Redgrave
Julia Redgrave has lived and worked in Nova Scotia for the past 40 years. She grew up in Ontario where she attended Sheridan School of Design, Sheridan College and Ontario College of Art.
Julia lived in the Antigonish area, and for 15 years (1997-2012) was an instructor in the Department of Fine Arts t St. Francis Xavier University, teaching the foundation drawing course.
​She moved to Annapolis Royal in 2012 and started Worn Doorstep Gallery. Julia has had many solo and group shows and has sold her work nationally and internationally. Currently working on a "Lichen" series, Julia uses oil pastels as her medium on "Arches hot and cold pressed papers."

Kate Ward
Kate Ward is an interdisciplinary artist whos work blurs the boundaries of textiles, ceramics, jewellery. Kate's current practice is informed by drawing and illustration which is then translated into textiles, ceramics and print. In 1998 she graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Australian National University School of Art and since graduation Kate has continued to develop her artistic practice participating in solo and group exhibitions in Australia, the United Kingdom, America and Canada and undertaking national and international residencies. Kate has won awards both nationally and internationally for her work. She is currently undertaking a Master of Fine Art at NSCAD.

Margaret Best
Margaret Best was raised and educated in South Africa. After some years of teaching in Cape Town, she immigrated to Canada settling with her husband and daughter in Calgary. Inspired by the wildflowers of Alberta, Margaret retuned to her love of painting nature. A serendipitous connection with artists in England launched a passion for botanical art resulting in teaching and exhibiting internationally for almost 20 years. Her work is widely published in books and magazines such as Fine Arts Connoisseur, Canadian Wildlife, and Nature Conservancy of Canada. The Royal Canadian Mint has commissioned her work for numerous coin releases since 2012. Her paintings are held in private and public collections around the globe. Margaret now resides and teaches in Chester, Nova Scotia.
