Call to Artists for Outdoor Installations 2020 // CLOSED
With ARTSPLACE Gallery closed during the pandemic, we would like to provide the opportunity for artists to present art in the open. ARTSPLACE is inviting applications from artists, to exhibit work in the gallery grounds between July - October.
Applications will be accepted from artists within the following criteria:
Selection will be through a jury process. Selected artists will receive a fee of $500.
Artists will be encouraged to document with photos, video or live-stream elements of the installation process for ARTSPLACE and their own social media.
Notes: We understand it may be difficult to get materials for making new work in the short time frame, and given the limitations for installation we will accept submissions for installations previously exhibited elsewhere as long as they can be adapted for our site and have not been shown in the Annapolis Royal area. Installations already exhibited should have any site related issues such as durability already worked out.
See above for images of the property.
